February Pocket Letter

Hi All!  It has been far tooooo long since I did a post on here!  No excuses!  I have retired even!!  O.K. I will try to do better!  I have been taking part in a monthly pocket letter exchange off and on, and this month was all about love.  Red is my favorite color, so I was excited to do this pocket letter.  It was so much fun to create!!  If you don't know what a pocket letter is, you start with one of those page protectors that you put baseball cards in and create a little piece of art for each pocket.  Then on the back side you put goodies in each pocket of some sort, usually it will include a tea bag in one pocket, a candy in another and various embellishments or what have you, but you are always supposed to include a letter to the recipient in one of the pockets, even if it is just a little note :)  Usually I take a picture of both sides before I send them off, but for some reason I only took a picture of the front of this one.

I made the middle pocket into a shaker with some fun sequins and micro-beads in it and then I have always wanted to do one with a little banner attached, so that's what I did here.  Like I said, this was really fun to make!

July Bloom Box

Hi All! :)
Ever heard of a Bloom Box?
It is a monthly subscription to a fun kit from Fun Stampers Journey!
Each month you will receive a full size stamp set and kits to make 4 cards.  You supply the inks and adhesives.
Now, there is a new option to buy the kit "a la carte" instead of signing up for a 6 month subscription,
you can choose to just order the kit for the current month the only risk is, they are "while supplies last".
A six month subscription is $24.95 per month, or if you purchase "a la carte" you will pay $29.95, not including tax/shipping.
This month's kit is my favorite so far, Mermaid Wishes!

Here is one of the cards that I made last night :)

And here is the video that I did making this card.

To order the Bloom Box or start a subscription, or just to shop, visit my store at

I've Been To Convention!

Hi My Stamping Friends!
I got to go to my first Fun Stampers Journey Convention last month and it was fabulous!!!  Richard and Gabby Garay, and the whole Fun Stampers Journey Crew did not overlook any details.  We were treated and treated some more!!!
It was my first time in Arizona, and in the summer at that, it was HOT!  Fortunately, I was inside with air conditioning 99% of the time :)
I didn't really get to do any sight seeing, and frankly it was too hot for that anyway, but the convention was great, and all of attendees had a great time.
I did some organizing in my stamp room today and wanted to do a video to show my haul from convention before I put everything away and start getting busy creating.

Thank you so much for stopping by, sorry it has been so long since I have posted anything, I will try to do better! :)
I hope you enjoy the video!
Please visit my You Tube channel for more videos,
And, if you are in the mood to do a little shopping, you will find so much goodness here.....

Happy Stamping!

All You Need Is Love

Hi my stamping friends!
I know, it's been awhile since I have done a blog post!

I am a guest hopper this month for the Savvy 7 & Friends Blog fun!!
The theme is All You Need Is Love.
If you don't already know, I am a coach, a Senior Coach Leader actually now, with Fun Stampers Journey.  I have created this card using products from Fun Stampers Journey.

I started with a white card base and layered the patterned paper on top.  The pink layer was embossed in a heart pattern embossing folder and I put the paper in the folder on a diagonal for a different look.  I picked a few of the raised hearts to add on some Sparkle Dust.  The pink layer is adhered to the red layer and before attaching to the card I tied on the pink ribbon.  That whole layer is popped up with sticky-backed foam..

"Love" was die-cut and glued in place and for some extra embellishment, I added on a few pearls.
All of the products I used for this card are listed below and you can find them all here.

Cardstock: Whip Cream, Candy Apple, Bubble Gum
Patterned Paper: Sweet Spring paper pad
I Heart Embossing Folder
Snapshot Frames Die Set
Bubble Gum Checks Satin Ribbon
Journey Sparkle Dust

Be sure to click on each person's name below to see what awesome creations they have to show you!
Thanks for hopping along!

Hi My Stamping Friends!
Back again using this cute mug set from Fun Stampers Journey.
I love this Cozy Wishes stamp set :)
This time I have created a Christmas card and inside is a fun surprise!

Red is my favorite color, so there is lots of Candy Apple red in this card!
The cozy is stamped with Oatmeal Cookie on Oatmeal Cookie cardstock....delicious!
The white background is embossed using the Happy Holidays embossing folder, and
the greeting is from the Bloom Benefits stamp set, Christmas Mug.
Now, for the fun surprise inside...

I made this cute pocket which is pefect for holding a gift card, money, candy, tea, or whatever you might think of!  The pocket is so easy to make using the Scalloped Pocket Die.  I also embossed it with the Happy Holidays embossing folder, sparkled it up with some Journey Gold Silk and embellished with die cuts using the Journey Blooms Holiday die set and a pretty red flower from the Journey Sequins Holiday Elements.

This card/gift card set would work super nice for giving someone a coffee gift card.  I wouldn't mind finding it in my Christmas stocking!
With the exception of the crochet thread, you can find all of the products that I used to make this project on my Fun Stampers Journey web page,
If you would like to join the Journey with me, I would love to have you on my team!!
There are several options available for you to join, and for as little as $49.99!
Check it out by clicking the link to my site above and then choose the "Become a Coach" tab.
Thanks for visiting and Happy Stamping :)

Hi My Crafty Friends!

Gosh, I'm sorry that it has been so long since I've posted.
Well, I decided to take part in this color challenge, because I do love
a challenge!  I find that it helps spark your creativity!

This challenge is from Can You Case It?

As you can see, the colors we are to use are orange, yellow and kraft.
Being a fairly new Coach for Fun Stampers Journey, I love playing
with my new products and sharing them with you.
For my colors, I chose Fun Stampers Journey cardstock in Banana Cream, Orange Creamsicle and Oatmeal Cookie.  For the inks, I used Pumpkin Bread and Oatmeal Cookie.  Doesn't it sound delicious?
The stamp set I went with is this set called Cozy Wishes.

Here is my card :)

I stamped the mug out once on Banana Cream and then again on Orange Creamsicle and cut out just the mug cozy in the Orange and then attached it to the mug.  I stamped the button on Oatmeal Cookie with the same color of ink and then went over the top of it with a little Pan Pastel in Dark Roast from the Mother Nature collection, and tied the button with some Journey twine in Natural.  The mug is sitting on a "coaster" that I die-cut using the Journey Circle dies.  For the coffee in the mug I added color using a water brush and Pumpkin Bread ink, but wanting it darker, I went back over that with some of the Dark Roast Pan Pastel and then topped it with Journey Glaze for the shine.  The bottom of the mug is attached flat onto the coaster, but popped up at the top with Journey Foam Squares for some dimension.  I made a little flag with the Banana Cream cardstock and stamped the greeting.  The embossed layer was done using an embossing folder from RG Richard Garay.  After embossing, I sponged Oatmeal Cookie ink over the raised image.  I embellished the card with some bronze sequins.
Here is the inside...

Tiny Cup, Big On Fun!

Hi Stamper Friends!!
How cute is this miniature coffee cup?!!
It is the perfect size for filling with your favorite candy goodies
or maybe a Kcup of your favorite brew.  I think it would be awesome
to put a mocha flavored truffle in there and give it
as a fun little "just because" gift.
Attach a coffee gift card for a really special little treat!

You can find these cute little cups online at  I used the coffee bean stamps from the Pretty Cute Stamps Coffee Sentiments set and some cocoa colored ink from Close To My Heart to make the design on the cup.  Even though the cup is curved, it was easy to stamp.  I created the coffee sleeve with some corrugated cardstock.  After punching out the green scalloped circle, I punched out the smaller white circle to stamp the design onto.  I used a sentiment from the Coffee Sentiments set and the cute face is
from the Coffee Faces set.
I thought it turned out really sweet.

You can find both of these cute stamp sets in the Pretty Cute Stamps Store.
Thank you for stopping by, and Happy Stamping!

Just For Her Challenge

Hi Friends and Stampers :)
I have a pretty card for you today made using Pretty Cute Stamps and following the new monthly challenge, "Just For Her".  To play along and have a chance at winning a gift certificate, read the details here.
I had been wanting to try the Pleated Skirt Fold card for some time and thought it was the perfect technique for this girly challenge.

I used the tulip from the pretty and new Spring Flowers set.  I stamped the tulip and the stem/leaves, 3 times onto watercolor cardstock using Close To My Heart inks.  Next I used a water brush and filled in the stamped images trying to match the colors in the patterned paper that I used.  I die-cut the tulips out and also a coordinating piece to pop behind the image.  The fold for this card is really simple and you can find a tutorial here.  I stamped the greeting using a coordinating stamp from the set.  The papers that I used are from Stampin' Up and the pretty sparkle trim is from Close To My Heart.  For more inspiration, pop on over to the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog.
Thanks so much for visiting, please come back soon!
Happy Stamping :)

How Does Your Garden Grow?

Hi Friends and Stampers!
I just had to get out the new stamp set, Grow, from Pretty Cute Stamps and stamp up the cute
seed pack because it is coming up on that time of year for planting!
How cute would it be, to buy a few seed packets and maybe a cute new
pair of gardening gloves and wrap them up for a gift, along with this card
for your favorite friend who loves to garden?  What a fun little "just because" gift!

I popped up a few of the seed packets for dimension and added the gardening tools
as a cute embellishment.
All images were stamped with Lawn Fawn Black Licorice ink and colored with
Spectrum Noir markers.
The cute patterned paper is from Echo Park.
You can find this fun stamp set and many more at Pretty Cute Stamps.

Happy Stamping :)

R U Up 4 A Challenge??

Hi Friends and Stampers :)
It's time again for another challenge from Pretty Cute Stamps.
This month the challenge is.....

I recently bought two items to make banners with, and I had using them in mind for this challenge.  I just wanted one piece to make a little wall hanging.  Here's what I came up with.

I used the pretty new set, Spring Flowers from Pretty Cute Stamps to create the focal point.  After stamping and coloring I cut out the piece using scallop punches in two different sizes.  For added texture, I used some cheesecloth.  The small layer of banner, along with the scalloped trim is cut using dies from a set by, and the larger one is made using a We R Memory Keepers punch board.  I inked around all of the edges and used some seam binding for the hanger.  The pretty green sparkles are from Bo Bunny.  The sentiment is from the new Pretty Cute Stamps set, Grow.
This piece is around 10" from top to bottom.

Be sure to visit the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog for all of the design team projects for this challenge, and then join us in making one yourself!  The challenge guidelines can be found here.  You could possibly win a $15.00 gift certificate to the Pretty Cute Stamps Store!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Happy Stamping :)

It's Wearin' 'O The Green Day!

What a fun day!!
Did you remember to wear green?  Did you pinch anyone, or get pinched yourself for not wearing green??  Do you have something fun planned for a meal that's a green food??
Whatever you do today, may the luck of the Irish be with you!
Even though this card looks like a St. Patrick's Day card, I actually
made it into a birthday card.
You have to use this cute leprechaun from the Pretty Cute Stamp's  Lucky set for more than just once a year!
I created the background for this card using the brand new Distress Crayons from Ranger.  I stamped the leprechaun and rainbow with Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers.
I popped up the stamped layer, and the leprechaun with sticky foam for added dimension.

I paired him up with the new Rainbow set for the perfect lucky combo!
I also used the grass from the new Spring Flowers set, it was just right and actually fit perfectly across the bottom of my card.  The greeting is from the Rainbow set.

For the inside, I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Leapin' Lizards set along with a lucky clover from the Lucky set.
You can find all of the sets I used to create this fun card in the Pretty Cute Stamps Store.

Happy Stamping!

Sneaky Peek Time!!

Hi Friends!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

It is time for new stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps and today I have a Sneak Peek of the Rain or Shine set for you.
I just have to say, you are going to love all the Spring designs in this month's new stamp sets!
Here is the card I made using Rain or Shine.

After embossing the card front, I used some Distress ink to create the stormy sky, and then layered
the two die-cut circles to create the focal point for these cute stamps.  I paper-pieced the rain boots and colored the tops and bottoms using Spectrum Noir markers.  The greeting is from the same set, and I popped it up with foam dots.  The raindrop bling was just the right touch to finish off the card.

Be sure to visit the Pretty Cute Stamps Blog for lots more "peeks" and a free cutting file pictured below.  See you tomorrow for the Blog Hop!!
Happy Stamping!

Just Swimming By...

Hi My Stamping Friends!
I get busy working on birthday cards this time of year and I have
made this super fun card to show you today!

I had so much fun putting this card together using stamps from Pretty Cute Stamps!  I stamped those cute Dolphins from the Sea Ya Soon set, colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut them out along with the sun from the Sunshiny Day set.
I die-cut the waves using a die set from My Favorite Things and layered them onto a blue card making sure that I left space un-glued to tuck the dolphins in.  I popped up the sun and the tops of the dolphins for added dimension.  The patterned papers are from Doodlebug Designs.
The greeting is also from the Sea Life Sentiments set, and I used the Happy Birthday from that set for the sentiment inside.
You can find all of these stamps sets in the Pretty Cute Stamps store.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and Happy Stamping!
